This 100% pure MACEL® poplin sits at a versatile mid-weight of 175g/m², with a smooth, compact surface and a crisp yet supple hand. More than a shirting fabric, it is engineered for performance outerwear: it can be laminated with a TPU membrane and finished with a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment to deliver windproof and waterproof protection, making it an ideal shell fabric for windbreakers and rain jackets. In its uncoated form, its light yet resilient structure also performs beautifully as a down jacket shell — tightly woven enough to contain fill while remaining soft and comfortable. A single fiber platform, a wide range of possibilities: proof that pure, sustainable materials can meet the demands of technical outerwear.
